You know, I mean, the really the good the album. Postrock, instrumental.
Listening all week… 🙂
Let see what AI says 🙂
Post-rock is a genre of music that emerged in the late 20th century, characterized by its emphasis on texture and atmosphere over traditional rock structures. It often incorporates a wide range of instruments, including guitars, drums, keyboards, and electronic elements, to build expansive and emotive soundscapes. The genre draws from a variety of influences, blending elements of ambient, experimental, and classical music to create a unique listening experience that transcends the conventional boundaries of rock music. Post-rock is known for its dynamic range, with compositions typically featuring gradual builds, crescendos, and intricate layering. The music often evokes a sense of introspection, making it a popular choice for creating reflective and cinematic moods.
💁♂️Yep, that was the days of our lives 🙂 . It doesn’t exist anymore… 🥺Maybe one day it will happen again 🤔 …
Enjoy listening!
Yeah baby, that’s right.
This album is coming and vanishing from Youtube in unexpected manner. Let’s see how long this particular track will last.
When it comes to the delicate electronic sound, a litlle revolution happen in 2011 when this label was launched by Matthew Dekay and Lee Burridge. It’s really specific house style and to my knowledge it is indeed original. As of today they they’ve released 95 recordings (check out at Discogs). This week I’m waiting for my copy of “A Winter Sampler III” and “A Winter Sampler IV” vinyl releases. Let’s have a look what is it all about 🎧🎹 !
“Born in Japan but raised in Switzerland Chikyu-u Records is about passion and sharing fine electronic music from all around the world.”
I completely agree. Japanese soul, Swiss quality 🇯🇵🇨🇭. See for yourself:
10 hours of good electronic music ☝️. Set it on shuffle and enjoy!
There are many “drummer top lists” but after 35 years of music exploring I found my favorit who is just incredible. He was (and still is) performing with Peter Gabriel and some other artist, and has it’s own discography. Ladies and Gens, Mr. Manu Katche:
Here is another appearance with Gibonni (somewhat poor sound, but loud it up 💁♂️):
It’s been over 5 years now from this release, and like every truly art-valued work, it’s came to me just by accident. It pays audience attention as quite as it sounds. But as it gets with every real quality audio work, it’s doesn’t fit to average listeners ear.
The band is somewhat esoteric, now much info is out there. Looks like they are lazy – not touring much, not recording much. New release showed up only last year. And I payed only 10€ for this record. What’s going on here? 🙂
Someone could say it’s recycled 80’s sound, and that argument I can accept, but for us loving that sound it’s just one lovely reincarnation 😉
Delicate pop-rock sound. Pure art. Check it out.
I sang
A song with no words
Sounded absurd
But it brought my numbers up
Fair game
Or whatever works
For better or worse
Who are you to be the judge?
Too late
What’s done is done
It’s only begun
No better time to hide your face
Clean break
I pray for the sun
C’mon c’mon
You know it’s so
Hard to do the right thing
I can’t do the right thing now
So hard to do the right thing
I can’t do the right thing now
This takes
An army to play
There’s no other way
How long can I face the blame
Save me
I knew all along
Now there’s no one
I know it’s so
Hard to do the right thing
I can’t do the right thing now
So hard to do the right thing
I can’t do the right thing now
Right thing now
It’s so hard to do the right thing
I can’t do the right thing now
So hard to do the right thing
I can’t do the right thing now
