
I’ve found this interesting interview the other day. Here is some highlights:
- 3rd day, May 13th, many recruits and Ukrainian staff died or wounded in cruise missiles attack at the large Ukrainian military base 20 km from the Polish border
- After the attack recruits moved in Central Ukraine near city of Rivne
- Russian artillery stike is on all the time
- Organization in early the days of the war was very difficult and chaotic
- Nationalities in the Foreign legion:
– Every country from ex-USSR
– All EU country
– French (“damn good soldiers – don’t care what anyone says”)
– Spanish (also good soldiers – wow)
– Scandies
– Canadians
– Americans - CasEvac (Casualty Evacuation) – 2 hours in avarage
- Hot drinks save lives
- Survival skills save lives
- Healthy army win the wars
- Lot of guys have no basic survival skills
- Obstruction, sabotage and terts presence in the UA Units
